Applied Statistician, 6 Months. Location: St. Louis MO.
Position Description: Perform complex ad hoc as well as project specific
statistical analysis and data mining activities that meet the business
relevance of opportunities associated with Member Banks, Merchants and

Specific Skill/ Experience Required:
(1) Must have extensive experience with SAS (BASE, STAT, ETS, IML, and
GRAPH), Unix Shell Programming and PERL. (2)
Must also have extensive
experience with Standard Data Mining methodologies such as CRISP-DM and
tools such as SAS Enterprise Miner. (3)
Must have a Masters Degree in Applied Statistics or Data Mining/Machine
Learning. (4)
Prefer a candidate with industry experience relevant to Financial
Systems, Clinical Trail Processes and general Market Research.
(5) Candidate must also be able to produce a comprehensive presentations
suitable for all levels of management in Member Bank, Merchant and Internal
organizations.
(6) This person will need to work closely with the existing Statistical
Sciences Team members in order to facilitate the completion of Business
Opportunities in a timely fashion.
(7) The candidate will also be involved in supporting the Virtual Data
Warehouse Team presenting opportunities to Member Banks.
