Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Support and development in all areas of the DataX databases and applications as it relates to statistical analysis, reporting, marketing, and data production needs.
- Create meaningful ad hoc analytical reports to provide information to support improvements in segmentation, decision, and application in Data X, their client environments, and associated business processes.
- Develop and utilize processes to manage ongoing production programming needs and data delivery for both internal and external clients. Manage data production and delivery for both internal and external customers.
- Initially, this position is a 'data focused' position that requires a self-starter with capabilities to rapidly learn existing databases, identify needs and provide data to support internal analytical staff and external data customers in a dynamic fast moving environment.
- Understanding of list hygiene, list processing, merge/purge, household matching, and marketing databases a major plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Marketing DBA and ETL experience a plus
- Strong SQL and PHP skills a plus
- Must be able to write and debug advanced SQL queries
- Strong affinity to understanding data, data structure, and extract meaningful data.
- A background in database marketing or a financial organization preferred.
- Experience building Marketing Databases
- List processing or service bureau experience a plus
