Director of Analytics - NYC, Atlanta or Seattle
Global direct marketing agency seeks experienced analytics manager.
You MUST have Agency/Consulting background to qualify.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to new business efforts as well as work on current clients
- Work with client, Account Service and Creative staff to create
relevant and strategic marketing strategies
- Find and focus upon the intersection between consumer need and client
benefit to create compelling messaging
- Help distill consumer insight from disparate sources into actionable
intelligence; assist in keeping the client teams informed of findings that
impact client target audience
- Lead internal insight generation process to ensure that the insights
are incorporated into the agency.s creative thinking
- Develops and oversees analysis and modeling on projects across
multiple accounts
- Able to communicate all aspects of project: design, findings and
conclusions
- Able to write and deliver final presentation
- Able to handle all communication with clients and vendors
- Able to develop proposals for existing clients and new prospects
- Provide consultation on developing and/or using consumer and market
research
- Monitor cultural and social trends and their impact on consumers.
attitudes, behaviors and perceptions using a variety of market and research
data
- Manage large-scale proprietary and/ or secondary research projects
with attention to quality control, budget adherence and actionable analysis and
recommendations
- Provide leadership in developing and writing clearly defined briefs
that contain concise information on product, audience and strategy
- Provides leadership in developing and communicating client analytic
strategies
- Sets priorities and makes adjustments to reach goals across multiple
projects
- Provides appropriate development plans and opportunities to direct
reports
- Work with and through Analytics to scope research projects as
necessary as well as develop tools to understand consumer behavior
- Other special projects as needed and assigned
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Quantitative Field
- 10+ Years experience in Marketing
- Experience in Direct to Consumer marketing analytics
- Experience in developing Segmentation, Life Time Value and Targeting
Models
- Working knowledge of different statistical techniques: Discriminant
Analysis, Logistic Regression, CHAID, Cluster Analysis, Factor Analysis, etc
- Working Knowledge of experimental/test design
- Working knowledge of survey design and analysis procedures
- MS Office
- Must have SAS, SQL and WebTrends experience preferred
- Travel: 25%-50%
