Blue Hawk, located outside of Richmond VA, with clients in Richmond
and Washington DC, provides data mining consultation and customized
analytical software development. We are seeking a Manager of
Applications Development to oversee and grow our software business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Consult with users to assess needs and system requirements.
- Recommend system improvements.
- Review and approve customized in-house tools and software to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of client systems prior to implementation.
- Work with statistical modeling and customized tools for data analysis, data mining, and streamlining of systems and business processes.
- Stay abreast of relevant technological advances.
- Manage backup, security and user help systems.
- Direct daily operations, including analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and deadlines.
- Develop technical and business results summaries and analytical spreadsheets for communication with clients.
- Oversee analysis of and provide customer relationship management.
Requirements of a Qualified Candidate:
- MS Computer Science + 2 yrs exp in job offered.
- Knowledge and experience with statistical & business analysis, data mining and custom & analytical software development & business consulting.
- Experience in SAS, SQL, Oracle, and Teradata tools.
