Web Services Engineer - Ask Jeeves
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for analyzing large amount of user data and web documents that will help us create world class search and question answering experience to millions of Ask Jeeves users.
- work with a team of world class architects and engineers to implement computer algorithms for information retrieval and search
- Statistical and rule-based query analysis, document processing (XML, text), web data extraction, query and document classification, text clustering, text categorization
Technical Skill:
- Natural language processing, Text classification, Linguistics, Clustering, Machine learning skills
- SQL, Databases, XML, XSLT required
- Perl required, C/C++ is a big plus
Professional Skill:
- Strong work ethic, diligent and reliable
- Strong people skills to work with other engineers
- Be able to deliver quality on time!
