Senior Web Analytics Expert
FriendFinder Inc is looking for a talented Web Analytics Expert.
Position Responsibilities:
- Developing reporting goals to match each site’s unique business objectives
- Developing Perl code to collect and store web traffic data.
- Applying sound logical and analytical methods for implementation of proper reporting metrics.
- Customizing JavaScript for site tracking
- Developing tools to address marketing and IT department’s reporting requirements.
- Mining data to identify business opportunities and assist in executive decision making.
- Configuring Web Analytics software to meet client goals
- Training marketing and IT departments on web analytics tools and techniques.
- Interpreting web statistics
- Integrating web analytics into each firm’s online marketing strategy
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to program in scripting languages (such as JavaScript, PERL, HTML, and SQL) Technical familiarity with Linux, mySQL and Apache.
- BS/BA
- Experience with methodologies in web traffic collection, user tagging, and user sessions.
