Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead programmer providing support to multidisciplinary project teams
• Perform data mapping from various clinical trial databases to standard structures
• Use SAS to generate summary reports (tables, figures, listings) for various analyses
• Support and/or lead technical and process improvement initiatives
• Write or modify complex SAS macros
• Contribute to department standards and procedures
• Represent department at cross-functional meetings
• Mentor new and less experienced staff

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or other relavent field
• 5+ years relevant work experience with SAS in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• Experience developing/implementing standard data structures containing complex derived variables
• Strong SAS knowledge in data manipulation & report generation (tables & graphs)
• Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external teams
• Experience coordinating outsourced projects with CROs, partners, or consultants
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks with minimal assistance
