Credit Scoring, Stamford, CT
Leading-edge consumer credit scoring company headquarted in Stamford, CT seeks a Statistician reporting directly to the Vice President – Analytics and Product Management
And works closely and takes direction/guidance from Senior Scientist
This position is responsible for the data manipulation, analysis and development of the annual refreshment of the score cards, conducts research and analysis, and participates in technical discussions with potential clients and business partners.
Requirements:
- Proven track record for leading and executing complex analytical projects
- Ideal candidate with be familiar with credit bureau scoring, data and model interpretation process
- Advanced degree, preferably in Statistics or Mathematics
- Minimum of five years’ experience in statistical modeling/data analysis, including large data set management and manipulation using advanced SAS programming
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong knowledge of MS products, including Excel, Word, Frontpage and Visual Basic
- Some travel required
Salary: $100 - $130k
