Senior Fraud Data Mining Analyst (UK)

Birmingham Midshires, Credit Risks, in West Midlands United Kingdom urgently needs a senior Data Mining Analyst. We would like you to have an open mind and not being afraid of looking for useful patterns with business value in chaotic data bases. You have to be communicative and be able to work in teams. You are going to do both oral and written presentations and you have to be able explaining complex things in a novel way.

Your education should be in Statistics or in Computer Science. It is an advantage if you have reached a PhD level. It is an even more advantage if you have experience from the financial sector. If you also have been working with fraud and feel like you are a kind of detective you are spot on.

We would like you to be an experienced SAS user. You should know STAT, Enterprise Miner, and Guide. You should be able to go into messy data bases yourself. You should be able to use SQL or good wizards to extract data. Mathlab is also good for this particular role. We are aware of that you might not have all these skills.
