Brokerage Firm, Senior Data Analyst (New York City)
Enable Group Inc in NYC is looking for a Senior Data Analyst.
Responsibilities
- The senior data analyst is responsible for preparing analytic data sets, generate marketing insights, and developing predictive models/segmentations to understand product preferences, response behavior and usage patterns of existing and potential customers.
- Work with data warehouse and other internal data platforms to extract customer information and profile customer behavior.
- Apply statistical/mathematical/computer science modeling tools to develop predicative models to support marketing campaigns in acquisition, retention, cross sell and customer experience management for all business lines.
- Work with the campaign execution team to implement predictive models for marketing campaigns.
- Tracking results of different marketing campaigns such as direct mail, email, telemarketing, online, media and prints for channel optimization.
Minimum Professional and Technical Skills
- Expert level knowledge of relational database and proficient in SQL.
- Strong knowledge of advanced statistical principles such as linear regression, logistic regression, multivariate analysis, principle component analysis, discriminant analysis, and experimental design.
- Proven ability to develop sophisticated forecasting models.
- Superior analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems and execute on solutions.
- Proficient in SAS, and Microsoft office.
- Extensive experience with large data sets and data manipulation.
- Strong computer skills and proven success with software education
Minimum Education, Certification, Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or other
- Quantitative disciplines
- Graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in quantitative fields such as statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, operation research or MBA from a top business school
- 2+ years working experience in an analytical/statistical role, and
- 1+ years of database marketing experience
- 1+ years experience in the financial service industry.
