Risk Analysis Consultant (Colorado)
Vose Consulting US LLC, a specialized risk analysis consulting, training and software firm that provides a broad array of risk analysis services and products to a wide variety of industries is seeking a RISK ANALYSIS CONSULTANT to join its growing team. The Risk Analysis Consultant will help clients use cutting-edge risk analysis and probabilistic techniques and methods to provide clients with decision support. This is a challenging as well as very rewarding function, working in fields as diverse as sales forecasting, costs estimation, financial analysis, credit modeling, biological/health sciences and inventory optimization. In addition, this position affords the opportunity to have great influence on the commercialization and implementation of a new cutting-edge risk modeling software tool that Vose Consulting plans to launch in 2007. Successful candidates will have a graduate degree (MSc. or PhD) in a quantitative field (e.g. finance, actuarial science, economics, decision analysis, statistics, math/physics) and 2-3 years of previous relevant industry experience (consulting experience preferred); background in financial mathematics (derivatives models, probability theory, mathematics) is desirable; demonstrated strong ability to analyze and solve complex decision modeling issues and problems; exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills; solid knowledge of statistics; ability to work with minimum supervision; and a high amount of critical and creative thinking. Exceptional candidates with only BSc. degrees will be considered based on proven expertise and skills in the fields described above. Knowledge of a programming/statistical language is desirable but not required.
