Description: Working closely with producers, designers and artists, you will build, refine, and implement font-end gameplay features specific to NCAA Basketball. You will transform design into reality as you create compelling user interfaces, new game modes, and real world sports management features such as scouting, team and game management, player development and practice drills. Applying your engineering talents and passion for college basketball you will model and develop realistic AI, deep content and intuitive user navigation experiences.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related academic discipline; thorough understanding of software engineering concepts with fluency in C/C++; ability to develop robust, reusable, adaptable and easily interpreted code; experience in user interface design and development; passion for videogames and NCAA basketball; ability to interface and communicate effectively with a wide range of game development professionals; and the discipline and self-initiative for delivering on schedule.
Preferred, but not required: Previous console game development experience; experience in AI; interest in sports and experience with the 2K Sports lineup.
Location: San Rafael, CA.
Salary and Terms:Salary, $65-110k, d.o.e. plus bonus, royalties and a full range of company paid benefits including vacation, holiday, personal time off, health insurance and more.
