Job Summary:
Publicis West is seeking a Director of Analytics to architect and lead the Analytics Team. The Director will lend vision on how to best develop robust, accurate, and responsive business analytics with emphasis on communication to internal and client-side management teams.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating dynamic Analytics programs that can be used to inform and guide marketing efforts. The Director will also have significant participation in the daily management and vision of the Interactive discipline within Publicis.
Responsibilities:
· As senior member of analytics team, define, establish, develop and manage a best in class Marketing Analytics group that is responsible for analyzing key performance metrics and competitive trending and communicating these to client and internal management, as appropriate
· Drive website and Online marketing measurement engagements with clients
· Provide Interactive team with well thought out and meaningful business guidance based on inside and third party analytical resources
· Conduct ongoing campaign performance measurement analysis, including identifying, defining, collecting and tracking key business metrics for new and existing campaigns
· Participating with, and guiding, executive management in the utilization of analytics
· Participating in New Business development opportunities for Interactive
· Develop and maintain successful working relationships across the Publicis team, clients and outside partners, to facilitate a world-class analytics and performance measurement.
· Provide guidance to other analysts in their creation of forecast, operational and statistical tools and models
· Recommend changes to existing policies and processes that will result in improved business results
Qualifications:
· 5+ plus years of relevant analytical and measurement experience, in Interactive, Agency or Direct Marketing/CRM organizations
· Experience in Managing an analytics team within a digital marketing/e-commerce environment
· Experience in the selection and management of third party research projects
· Well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
· Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
· Strong analytical skills - must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources - qualitative analysis a plus
· Must be able to establish influential partnerships at all levels
· Must be able to translate business goals into functional strategies
· Experience in Technology an communications industries preferred
· BA or BS in a related field, i.e., engineering, computer science, economics, etc., with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature.
· Experience in working with large scale measurement and reporting platforms such as Omniture, WebSideStory, WebTrends, and DART.
Daily Responsibilities:
· Working with the Advertising, Media, Client and Branding teams to conduct online advertising, search and Web site campaign data analysis (test plans, creative performance, media performance, etc)
· Work with client and internal stakeholders to understanding business requirements in order to design and develop reporting and analysis approaches tailored to the needs of our business partners
· Work closely with internal teams to develop pre-project measurement plans and post-mortem project analysis in order to develop specific and actionable recommendations
· Manage the collection and synthesis of data from multiple sources such as Omniture, WebSideStory, WebTrends and DART.
