Senior Statistician, Outcome Research (Bridgewater, NJ)The Outcomes Research Department is seeking a statistical analyst to work on database analysis using Pharmaceutical internal databases. Database analysis is an important component of outcome research. The tenure of the position is 6 months but renewable. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Knowledge Base: Received a Master’s degree or other advanced degree in statistics, economic, epidemiology, biostatistics or other quantitative or public health-related discipline. Experience: The candidate should have at least 5 years of statistical analysis and SAS programming experiences, preferably in an epidemiology or outcomes research environment. Data analysis skills and experience working with health insurance claims and other automated healthcare databases are highly desirable. Knowledge and expertise in statistical analysis are essential. Familiarity with major SAS products,is needed. Skills--In-depth expertise and training in statistical analysis --Working knowledge in retrospective medical database and its application for outcome research--Sophisticated SAS skills and capacity of conducting database analysis using both SAS and database. Responsibilities Include: Work under the supervision of a Pharmaceutical senior OR scientist to develop verity of database projects to support Outcomes Research; Provide expertise to the project development.· Conduct professional database analysis using internal database to meet the request from the Outcomes Research department.
