Product Operations Manager, Allstate (Northbrook, IL)

The purpose of the department is to provide research, data and consulting to help Allstate compete in the marketplace. The Quantitative Research and Analytics Department focuses its work on the development of competitive pricing models. Within QR&A, the Competitive Intelligence and Analytics team focuses on qualitative competitive intelligence and price competitiveness.

The Project Manager will manage all aspects of a new vendor product being developed for Allstate. They must be able to manage the overall pursuit and/or project delivery of multiple projects. This will include developing the scope, timelines, resources, budget, risks and issues, relationships, and communication. This person will drive project delivery and support, assign and manage project resources, controls project budget, expenses and scope, manages risks, issues, and problem resolution, manage project relationships (business, vendors, APT), uses functional, business, and technical knowledge to deliver the best solutions and develops and manage project communications. In addition to project management, this role will be responsible for developing Project Management processes for the department.

Experience Required:

Ideal candidate would have experience in project management of large projects within the insurance field. The individual should have proven leadership skills, excellent inter-personal skills and must be comfortable interacting with, escalating issues to, or challenging senior leadership as required. The candidate must have experience managing to business user's expectations, needs, & priorities and have demonstrated the ability to solve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Education:

College Degree - Preferred

Computer Proficiency:

Intermediate: Microsoft Office Suite of tools, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Project.
