Operations Research Analyst, GS-1515-13

If you are selected for this position, you will be the expert analyst to perform mathematical, statistical, economic and/or other analyses projects pertaining to the Energy sector or to a sub-sector of it to maintain and enhance models for use in simulation studies. Assignments will also involve unique problems, and require creativity, innovative techniques, advanced approaches, and consideration of the effects of new and emerging technologies, rapidly changing industry practices, mergers and restructurings, new regulations, and other changes in the world and national economics and markets affecting production, pricing, supply and distribution patterns. You will conduct studies important to agency decision-makers.
