Senior Manager, Customer Management - Apple (Bay Area, CA)
Job Functions
- Perform and manage customer analysis
- Develop segmentations and analysis to inform product marketing, market development, and customer strategies
- Design and implement tests to measure the effectiveness of customer strategies
- Analyze customer data, demographics and primary research from AppleÕs internal research group to understand product usage and purchase behavior
- Analyze long term trends to discover opportunities for improvement in customer and market performance
- Manage customer analysis team
- Manage customer analysis team and perform administrative functions
- Develop work plans and issues lists to track progress
- Develop the teams analytic and communication skills
Partner with other areas
- Define customer analysis and reporting requirements with the business partners
- Deliver analysis in written reports and oral presentations
- Provide consultation to business partners on analytics and statistical analysis
- Coordinate the development of customer strategies and tactics with the business partners
Manage customer database for the business partners
- Partner with IS&T to develop customer systems strategies, requirements and test plans
- Coordinate customer systems issues and test for their resolution with IS&T
- Communicate with external vendors
- Evaluate and select new customer analytical tools
Qualifications
- BS degree required / MS degree preferred in Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics or related field
- 9+ years or experience in customer analysis, statistical modeling, and data mining
- 9+ years or more experience with statistical tools (SAS or SPSS)
- 9+ years or more experience with data access/preparation methods (SQL and relational databases)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time with an attention to detail
