Marketing Analyst - Kaplan (New York, NY)

The Marketing Analyst possesses strong analytical skills and will work with our product, marketing, and partners to support cross media marketing campaigns with business results. The Analyst will use statistical tools and data analysis for managing and reporting all marketing results data.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in assuring that Web, E-mail, E-commerce, Media and Direct Marketing systems are set-up to effectively track marketing campaigns for back-end analysis and reporting.
• Participate actively in the implementation of the data integrity process, procedures and reports for all marketing systems.
• Responsible for the collection of report specifications for both standard and ad-hoc marketing reports.
• Support the process of data extract creation in support of reporting.
• Analyze effectiveness of web-based communications and provide monthly Web analytics reports, including analysis about implications and trends.
• Responsible for the design and analysis of marketing tests as well as summary/findings of those test results.
• Monitor and present current business performance and trends, including Development and maintainence of customer and market information; including customer segments, customer value, propensity to purchase and market profiles and opportunities
• Make recommendations for test design as well as changes to marketing strategy supported by learning from marketing analysis activities.
• Track and perform QA for monthly customer data as it moves from internal business systems to external vendors.
• Management of any model development.
• Manage and track projections based on internal and external factors.
• Monitor and report competitive intelligence.
• Manage and/or performs customer and market research as necessary.
• Import/export and manipulate data as needed for analysis.
• Provide written analysis and presentation of findings.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Quantitative discipline preferred.
• 2+ years direct, database marketing experience required.
• Must be detailed oriented and highly organized, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong Access, Excel and MS office skills, knowledge of SQL, SAS a strong plus.
• Experience working with web analytics program (Webtrends, NetTracker) preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Business Objects or related software reporting package.
• Project management skills a plus.
• High level of quantitative and analytic skills.
• Understanding of relational database systems.
