Description:
Purpose of the Role:
Perform statistical analysis and modeling on large, on-going, tracking studies
Function as the technical lead for execution of tacking products
Assist in the development of technical solutions and creation of data warehouse infrastructure for Nielsen Entertainment
Assist in the design and development of the custom research factory where needed
Work closely with Operation and Technology team to automate weekly production processes for trackers
Skills Required:
5+ years work experience programming, developer
Data management experience
Experience with SAS or SPSS
Experience with statistical principles and methodologies, focusing on predictive forecasting of time series data
Microsoft Office suite (Access & Excel)
Microsoft SQL Server 2000, T-SQL
Demonstrated strong problem solving and continuous improvement process skills
Strong written and verbal Skills Desired:
Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline
Experience in the entertainment industry
Proven familiarity with consumer research techniques and trends
Experience with Oracle or Unix
8+ years experience
