Sr. Analyst, Sales Operations - Johnson & Johnson (Titusville, NJ)
Job Description:
The Sr. Analyst, Sales Operations will support the Sales Operations Department through in-depth analysis, knowledge, advice and recommendations in sales force resource optimization through developing and implementing world-class call plan strategies. Responsible for the development and/or analysis of customer segments, targeting and sales results through various data mining and analytical functions. Create/maintain standard operating procedures, education materials and presentations to communicate to business partners and the field to ensure a full understanding of the call plan across all levels of the organization. Encourage and lead training with peers to ensure knowledge is shared and best practices are implemented. Responsible for various data analysis for the purposes of increasing sales force productivity through optimized targeting and call plan strategies.
Required Skills: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or Masters in Quantitative Field or Computer Science is preferred. A minimum of 3 years analytical experience is required. Good organizational skills, analytical ability, attention to detail, verbal and written communication sills, and system aptitude are required. Ability to organize and analyze multiple data sources and events into a cohesive result through the utilization of various analytical tools and technologies is required. Must be able to complete various data mining and analytical tasks for the purpose of increasing sales force productivity using MS Excel and Access is required. Experience using SAS or SQL is preferred. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and related data sources is preferred, especially in the areas of sales and marketing. Experience with call planning process is preferred. Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization and to maintain controls for quality and project completion. This position is located in Titusville, NJ with occasional travel to Ft. Washington, PA. A minimum of 10% domestic travel is required.
