Ad Producer, 6 months (Seattle, WA)

The Ad Producer, a key member of the Technical Revenue Operations Team, is responsible for production and development of Advertising activity for various sites within the Internet Group. Duties may include: scheduling and posting ads and producing performance reports, managing inventory and media placements in coordination with the Producers of each site, media planning, and contributing to weekly team meetings. Work with all Revenue Operations and Strategic Services teams to coordinate advertising, sponsorships, partner media, site redesigns and the development and Q&A of ad management systems. Shares on-call responsibilities with other producers to provide 24 x 7 coverage for all sites as it applies to advertising. Working with Rich Media Research team to test and implement rich media elements. Additional tasks as assigned. Will focus mainly on .com sites.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience; two plus years experience in internet or advertising operations; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; excellent communication skills; organizational and analytical skills; good attention to detail; the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently; experience with HTML; experience with ad trafficking software systems, for example, DART. An interest in project management, marketing and advertising is a definite plus! Requirements

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

Specific skills required for this position include: strong communication skills; HTML skills; familiarity with JavaScript; familiarity with Flash; familiarity with multimedia applications such as streaming audio and video. Must have experience with text editors; marketing and advertising knowledge a plus; strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task; enjoys working on a team; enthusiasm a definite must!
