Use your experience and skills in predictive analytics to investigate predictive analytics across multiple domains. You'll compare a variety of statistical methods and approaches to automated validation. Your experience will be instrumental in selecting and creating technology for our platform. You will use your skills to evaluate model combinations operating with very large data sets MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES ' Evaluate analytic techniques ' Research algorithms for automation ' Research 'real time' algorithms ' Develop predictive models ' Help the team apply algorithms and models in commercial products ' Work with designers to visualize and automate analysis ' Evaluate and compare commercial and open source products ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES ' Development of production-quality predictive models ' Work with large, raw data sets, ' Contributions to data visualization development ' Information architecture ' Combining methods such as clustering algorithms or stochastic analysis with model-based estimators ' Optimizing computing resources ' Work with technicians developing data visualization and interface designs ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS ' Strong communication skills ' written and oral. ' Application of modern statistical methods including linear and nonlinear regression and machine learning. ' 2+ years work with statistics package such as SAS. ' 1+ years experience working with large data sets via SQL ' Able to build rapport and forge strong working relationships. ' Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. ' Adaptable and open to working on a variety of projects ' Able to work quickly and independently EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED ' MS or PhD in statistics, mathematics or related field with statistical analysis background Position is located in Seattle, WA.
