Senior Statistician (New York, NY)
The Population Council seeks a senior statistician with a minimum of 3 years statistical programming or relevant experience to be responsible for the development, standardization, implementation, and maintenance of statistical programs for a multi-year clinical research trial.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining clinical trial statistical data files and designing templates for status reports, tables, graphs, and listings that meet FDA specifications.
Qualifications include an advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field, excellent knowledge of SAS, SAS Macro Language, SQL, as well as knowledge of EXCEL and Word. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and interpersonal skills are required. This person should have managerial experience and will be expected to supervise junior programming staff. Knowledge of MedDRA, WHOART and DATAFAX is preferred.
