We’re now hiring: Analyst II-Credit Modeling (Job #422691) The position is within the WaMu Card Service’s Business Risk Management department, with primary responsibility of providing analytical support for the Basel II compliance and Economic Capital programs. As a key member of the Basel II Compliance and Economic Capital program team, you will lead the analytical effort to support the development and on-going need of these programs. Responsibilities include participation in model development, statistical analysis, and development of MIS monitoring program. In addition, you will serve as the key contact with the production team with oversight responsibility on the monthly production. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research or other related quantitative disciplines. Advanced degree in similar fields preferred. • 4+ years’ financial industry experience; prior risk management and statistical modeling experience a plus. • Strong proficiency in SAS, Unix Operating System, and MS Excel • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to effectively work and drive business results in a cross department environment.
