We currently have an opening for a full-time Web and Data Assistant in our Berkeley, CA office. Typical responsibilities include:
· Updating the company intranet, the company website, and various other client websites
· Creating web versions of statistical reports, checking the accuracy of statistical output, and data entry
· Converting various types of publications to online formats
· Checking and testing files for errors/problems
Interested applicants should have the following minimum qualifications:
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Excellent computer skills including proficiency in HTML and MS Office including experience with Excel spreadsheets. Experience with JavaScript and SQL desired. Experience with statistical software such as SPSS or SAS a plus.
· Strong analytical skills with some knowledge of statistical analysis and/or social science research methods preferred
· Creative problem solving skills
· Capacity to work with a team as well as independently and under deadline pressure
