There is an immediate long-term contract opportunity for a Business analyst and database professional.
This is an opportunity in a great environment in the non-profit sector. The ideal candidate has extensive database experience as well as the communication and business intelligence skills to gather requirements and create the proper business solutions and reports.
Required skills
• SQL, PL-SQL
• Advanced database analysis and design
• Crystal reports or other similar report writer – intermediate to advanced
• GUI interface design experience intermediate to advanced
• Clinical research experience is a plus
• Another plus: SPSS or SAS or other research analysis tool
• Project will entail:
• Analysis of current business processes related to reporting and storage of data within research department
• Review existing SPSS database structures
• Recommend streamlined processes to reduce complexity and time it takes to perform analysis
• Based on work in (a) above develop reports (Crystal) within clinical systems to reduce analysis complexity
• Based on (a) above design GUI/form interfaces within clinical systems to capture data to allow for structured reporting processes
