General Job Description:
This full time position is responsible for tactical support of retention marketing analytical functions for the company. Will work closely with Marketing, Finance and Technology on audience segmentation and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Manage weekly audience pulls for retention marketing emails.
· Manage reporting and analysis of retention marketing emails/programs.
· Analyze and interpret customer behavior, demographic and needs/attitude data. Based upon insights, make recommendations for effective, personalized marketing programs. Programs could be across channels (email, web site experience).
· Build models in support of key marketing efforts and collaborate with internal teams to identify and evaluate opportunities to use analytics to maximize marketing success.
· Monitor and analyze marketing programs, making recommendations for continuous optimization of programs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
· At least 3 years experience in performing data analysis, online experience is a plus
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, statistics, social sciences, finance or market research, master’s degree a plus
· Targeted marketing experience, particularly in the area of customer email programs preferred
· Experience working with marketing databases to import/export data and run and analyze reports.
· Hands-on experience in working with audience list pulls.
· Experience / exposure to Business Objects or other OLAP tools; experience in the use of SQL, SAS or SPSS data analysis software a plus
· Experience in design & presentation of market analysis results to various levels of management
· Ability to translate complex concepts in clear and concise communication.
· Accurate and detail oriented
· Highly motivated, a team player and a self-starter
· Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
· Ability to establish, influence and maintain effective collaborative working relationships across different functional areas.
· Ability to adapt and be flexible to change
