Responsibilities Include:
• Develop, validate and maintain audience data models and segmentation algorithms
• Support development of a structured category model (taxonomy) for behavioral classification
• Work with Engineering team to develop and maintain world-class data warehousing and computational analytics system
• Recruit and lead a team of analysts
• Use relational and analytical databases for goal-based analysis to evaluate product performance and business opportunities
• Lead cross-departmental team to develop, validate and maintain corporate data strategy
Requirements
• Master’s level degree in quantitative or analytical discipline such as Statistics, Decision Sciences, Operations Research or Econometrics. PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience:
o 5+ years experience developing analytical models in marketing, finance, advertising or economics.
o 2+ years leading a team of analysts
o 3+ years experience with SQL, SAS, SPSS or Oracle data mining tools
• Expert knowledge of analytical techniques including Classification Algorithms, Decision Trees, Bayesian Networks, Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis
• Experience working with very large data sets is helpful
• Web Analytics experience a plus
• Working knowledge of one or more software development languages expected (Java, C, C++, C#, PHP, Perl)
