JOB DESCRIPTION
Healthcare Analytics, a Wolters Kluwer business, has an immediate need for a Customer Operations Analyst at our Phoenix, AZ location. Wolters Kluwer is a $4.4bn global business with over 10,000 employees in the US.
We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant for Methodology and Economics. This position will be working within the Research and Consulting department, which deals mainly with extracting information from multiple data bases (script Rx, patient claims; medical claims; hospital claims) across multiple platforms, using multiple programming languages.
Responsibilities:
o Develops novel mathematical approaches to model R&C data assets to produce new product revenues
o Performs a variety of complex quantitative and analytical market research projects.
o Analyzes and interprets longitudinal healthcare data.
o Designs, provides methodological support, and executes custom studies.
o Assists with external client relationship development.
o Assists and works with product managers, marketing strategists, and sales to design and perform analyses to meet client requirements.
o Is accountable for understanding study specifications and their execution, using tools such as MSI, SAS, SQL, Excel, Access, Oracle or other relational DB applications.
o Creates tables, reports, graphs, written analyses, and supporting documentation.
o Presents findings, leads meetings related to studies, and assists with project price estimates.
o Is responsible for performing ad hoc and on-going studies.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Bachelor''s degree in statistics/mathematics/economics or related quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience.
o Master''s degree preferred.
o Minimum 2 years experience using programming languages such as SAS or SPSS (SAS preferred).
o Minimum of 2 years experience with data exploration and statistical analyses, preferably in a healthcare setting.
o Experience with large database manipulation and SQL, particularly with health care claims analysis, is preferred.
o Candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
o Must be able to demonstrate insight and creativity in the design and analysis of projects and interpretation of results.
