Job Description - Informatica Experts: As global businesses have applied world-class technologies to achieve exceptional business results, the need for world-class expertise in the storage, retrieval and delivery of information has become increasingly important. The challenges for storing and effectively retrieving terabytes of data demands new design skills. The challenges of delivering information between complex legacy systems and powerful advanced systems, or between massive data stores and widely distributed users require extraordinary skills in middleware. Information Delivery develops architects with world-class skills in data architecture and data warehousing. Our Informatica experts are a key part of the process. Key Responsibilities: • Translate client user requirements into data flows, data mapping etc • Design overall ETL processes and architecture • Develop and design technical specs • Develop test plans • Data Architecture, design & development • Ability to travel 100% (Monday - Friday) • Based out of one of the following locations: New York City, Florham Park, Reston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, El Segundo/Los Angeles, Denver, Minneapolis Qualifications Basic Qualifications: • 2+ years hands on experience with Informatica • 1+ year full lifecycle development experience • Bachelor's degree required Preferred Skills: • Software development experience • Data warehousing /Business Intelligence experience • Proficient with data modeling tools • Experience with one of the ETL tools (Informatica’s Power Center/Power Mart, Ascential’s Data Stage, Cogno’s Decision Stream, AB Initio, MS SQL/2000 DTS, Acta, Oracle warehouse builder) • Experience using OLAP (Report Tools: Brio, Microstrategy, Cognos, Business Objects, Crystal, Actuate, Hperion Essbase, SAS, Microsoft Analysis Services, Arcplan, Proclarity) • Team lead experience Professional Skills: • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment • Desire to work in an information systems environment • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills All of our consulting professionals receive comprehensive training covering business acumen, technical and professional skills development.
