Sr. Marketing Data Analyst (Dallas, TX)
Dallas-based direct marketing agency seeks a Sr. Marketing Data Analyst reporting to the Director, Data Management.
Responsibilities include:
Design and program re-usable SAS/SQL code to prepare data for analysis.ƒn
Download data from various sources.
Load data into SQL database and convert it to SAS dataset.
Respond to Analyst requests for additional data.
Provide information and support for ad hoc analytic projects for high-level internal and external users.
Document SAS and SQL code processes.
Prepare ad-hoc reports using Excel and PowerPoint and deploy report to web portal.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree in a quantitative field or business with quantitative work experience (required).
Post graduate degree in a quantitative field or MBA (a plus but not required).
Ideal candidate will have 3 ¡V 4 years previous experience in marketing data analysis.
Must have hands on experience programming SAS modules - BASE, STAT, and macro library.
Must have hands on experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle and DB2.
Must have experience working with FTP software.
Must have expert skills in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiar with programming languages such as Microsoft Visual Basic, ASP, ASP.NET, DOS Batch, Shell scripting, Java Script. Web development skills are a plus. Ability to synthesize, summarize, format report/presentation materials.
