Statistical Analyst (Atlanta, GA)

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer & CIO, this position will manage the development and implementation of an organization-wide data acquisition strategy ranging across multiple disciplines and business lines, i.e., Finance, Affordable Housing, Section 8 Voucher Program, and real estate repositioning and redevelopment programs.

Responsibilities include developing an internal data system, coordinating data acquisition/analysis, performing quantitative/statistical analysis and model development, implementing analytical/statistical methodologies to evaluate program performance and participant demographics such as, household/income profiles, occupancy levels, resident surveys, etc. This position ensures that the flow of data throughout the organization is tracked in an accurate and timely fashion.

Required Competencies:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics or related field with 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in developing, analyzing, and reporting statistical project plans, specifications, schedules and technical parameters using project management methodologies; PMP Certification highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in statistical database design, maintenance, interpretation and analysis, preferably using Oracle
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAS,SPSS, Oracle Discoverer, Microsoft Excel and/or Access
  • Experience in analyzing data using logical and mathematical calculations for both descriptive and inferential statistics, including correlation coefficients, ANOVAs, MANOVAs, central tendency, etc
  • Must have the ability to manipulate large volumes of data from internal/external sources, knowledge of a variety of analytical concepts and methodologies
  • Must possess expert critical thinking skills, detailed technical writing skills and polished presentation skills
