Marketing Data Miner (Columbus, OH)Description: The ideal candidate for this position is an analyst with solid marketing experience and database skills. This individual provides business intelligence for tactical and strategic level decision makers in the Marketing department, including analysis of customer transactions and characteristics. This individual also provides promotion operations support. Responsible for validating data and supporting marketing promotions by implementing house file selections. Master our business practices, marketing programs and products. Develop and enhance Marketing Database reports. Formulate and present analyses Required Skills: Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree desirable but not required) and 2 years Marketing Database, Marketing, or Financial analysis experience. Must have a desire to solve problems and find answers. Experience with data query and analysis tools. Knowledge of statistical tools used in data analysis (SAS or SPSS) and knowledge of SQL. Understanding of database marketing concepts and strategies. Must be detail oriented with strong communications and interpersonal skills. Experience in Direct Marketing business is a plus.
