Key Responsibilities The SAS Administrator & Developer is a critical role within the Inforte Managed Services organization. The ideal candidate will have a well rounded background in the SAS 9 Architecture, specifically the marketing analytics suite of products. Prior experience in large, high data volume environments, as well as, the ability to match the best technological approach to a request is critical. The position will be responsible for all aspects of SAS production support, installation and performance tuning. Other responsibilities will include; report planning, building and implementation of security for the report. Required Skills: Key Requirements SAS Portal Application development SAS Web Reports Studio SAS on Linux (Systems Administration SAS application development SAS OLAP cubes – The ability to write code to access and manipulate data to create a final base table. Then use either the OLAP Cube Studio or PROC OLAP to create the cube. The ability to tune cubes by using indexes as well as aggregations. The ability to publish the cubes to the SAS Portal using information maps, Web Report Studio, Visual Data Explorer and or SAS OLAP viewer. Static Reports – create web reports using Information Map Studio, Web Report Studio and Enterprise Guide. Dynamic Reports – use SAS stored processes to create run-time reports that include hyperlinks/graphs which are linked to additional stored processes.
Desired Skills: Detailed Requirements Experience with SSL, LDAP & SAS system security integration with other systems SAS server performance tuning Working knowledge of XML & HTML integration w/ SAS BI Know-how for all SAS application layers, installation, configuration & tuning Data Step programming SAS/Macro language SAS/Base – all PROC’s OLAP Data Structures PROC OLAP PROC SQL and PROC SQL with Oracle pass through LSF for scheduling batch jobs.
