Summary:
The New York Times Company is looking for an experienced candidate to
join an innovative analytics team. The team provides analytical
support for various marketing initiatives across the digital
operations, which includes the #1 newspaper site NYTimes.com,
Boston.com and About.com. The support ranges from preparing web
analytics reports to designing new, statistically driven technologies.
The ideal candidate will have advanced statistical knowledge and SQL programming capabilities as well as web analytics and marketing analytics experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare web analytics reports
- Perform various ad hoc data analyses
- Work with technology to oversee the implementation of various statistically driven applications
- Design, execute and evaluate online marketing tests
- Develop predictive models for use in a recommendation engine
Requirements:
- Masters degree in statistics or data mining related field
- Minimum 3 years of marketing analytics experience
- SQL programming capabilities
- Minimum 1 year of web analytics experience
