The Research Statistician position includes the following activities:
- Assist in performing statistical studies by following established procedures including data support, data analysis, sample selection, universe estimates and research projects.
- Assist in the design and execution of customized / ad hoc studies in order to answer client questions.
- Develop, update and maintain software / databases.
- Design and conduct research to develop, improve or justify Nielsen research methods.
Qualifications
- Master degree in Statistics, Bachelors degree in Statistics with 2+ year experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of SAS programming.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and sampling methods
- Knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to estimate project time requirements and work independently.
- Some overtime and travel required
