Yahoo! partners with a large number of publishers who show sponsoredad
listings delivered by Yahoo! depending on the content of their
web-sites. The quality of the web traffic driven by the publishers
determines the click through rates, and the conversion rates of these
sponsored ad listings.
Job Responsibilities:
The Data Driven Applications (DDA)
team is looking for energetic individuals who can play a major role in
analyzing and measuring the quality of the web-traffic driven by the
publishers. The position offers vast opportunities to define real-time
metrics of the quality of thepublisher web traffic, in order to
improve the efficacy of the Yahoo! publisher network.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Strong skills in statistical analysis of large quantities of web-traffic data
- Deep knowledge of relevant metrics for real-time systems
- Good understanding of data mining techniques.
- Strong skills in C/C++, algorithms
- Experience working with large volumes of data.
- BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physical Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Preferable Job Qualifications:
- Experience with on-line advertising and direct marketing data is a plus.
- MS/Ph.D in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physical Sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
