Summary:

The Marketing Analyst assists members of the campaign management and media buying teams with analysis supporting critical media optimization decision making. The Marketing Analyst is responsible for compiling and analyzing marketing metrics and reporting findings to the media optimization team. This position requires the ability to translate large amounts of data into concise results and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of SQL programming fundamentals and experience in managing complex data challenges. Ideal candidates will exhibit a strong creative and analytical mindset, and have the wherewithal to create and implement new business strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities:

• Build working knowledge of media data structures and sources
• Access data and use reporting tools to create new perspectives on data
• Publish and share findings with marketing teams
• Identify effective methods to routinely publish and productionalize reporting
• Create marketing program reporting templates and support operationalization

Skills:

• Data warehouse, reporting and manipulation experience (SQL, OLAP tools like Business Objects/Microstrategy)
• Analytic and critical thinking
• Experience with marketing metrics and interpretation
• Testing, measurement and reporting experience
• Excel

Requirements:

• Degree from a 4-year college in technical field, preferably in financial analysis, computer science, or economics
• Online data reporting experience
