Position Overview:
The Software Engineer position will be a member of an engineering team that is responsible for building WebVisible's core software products. These applications are mission critical applications that drive revenue for the company and are critical to the overall success of the enterprise. The Software Engineer will use various development environments and languages to build components of the application that meet requirements, adhere to schedules, and are of the highest quality.

Requirements & Experience:
5+ years experience as a software engineer building mission critical production applications
5+ years developing products for Microsoft Windows and/or web-based applications
5+ years experience with Visual Basic, C#, and/or C++
3+ years experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
3+ years experience using Object Oriented Programming techniques
3+ years experience building applications as part of a team environment
1+ years experience with the .NET application framework
Experience using a formal software development lifecycle
Good overall communication skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Masters degree a plus

Position Responsibilities:
Work from business requirements and technical design documents to build components of the overall application that meet the requirements
Provide technical design documents for components of the overall application that meet the specific business requirements, and then build the components
Follow technical guidelines and processes, such as coding standards, as set forth by the CTO and engineering team
Adhere to the development lifecycle established by the Engineering team
Work on tasks as assigned for specific projects, meeting deadlines as set forth by the project manager(s)
Work on maintenance tasks for enhancing/fixing existing applications as well as new development tasks for building new applications
Take direction and guidance from the Vice President, Engineering
Work with other company staff members in a positive, cohesive manner
