Senior Credit Risk Analyst (Chicago, IL)Industry: Finance/Banking Location: Chicago, IL Title: Senior Credit Risk Analyst Job Duties: • Work closely with Marketing, Credit Policy, Compliance, and Legal Departments to ensure accounts acquired from various marketing programs are in compliance with company standards, policies, and practices. • Conduct independent analysis relating to prospect acquisitions. • Designs and writes mainframe and PC SAS programs to analyze the life cycle value of loans acquired by various marketing programs. • Train and provide direction to review the work of less experienced analysts. Job Requirements: • Three plus years of proven statistical analysis and MIS experience or equivalent. • Knowledge and understanding of financial services and direct mail products preferred. • Must be detailed oriented. • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, related field or experience. Master’s Degree preferred. • Strong programming skills. • Proficiency with personal computers as well as applicable mainframe systems and software packages.
