Environmental Engineer/Analyst (Seattle, WA or Novato, CA)ENVIRON is a scientific environmental consulting firm providing a broad range of technical services to both public and private sector clients (see www.environcorp.com). This position is in the Air Sciences group, either in Seattle, WA. or Novato, CA, performing technical assessments of air pollution with an emphasis on computer modeling and engineering analyses. Job Description Entry-level position to assist with: estimating emissions from all pollution sources, computer modeling of air pollution, engineering evaluation of air pollution sources, statistical analysis of air quality data, and analyzing pollution control measures. Qualifications BS or MS in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental/Civil, or Mechanical) or science required; 0-4 years work experience. Very strong computing skills required. Solid spreadsheet and word processing experience required. Computer programming experience required, such as scientific programming (FORTRAN, C, C++), database programming (Access, SQL), statistical programming (SAS, S-Plus), Linux/Unix shell scripting.
