Senior Manager, Search - Charles Schwab (San Francisco, CA)

Group Overview:
Paid Search Marketing is responsible for developing a Corporate Wide
approach to Paid Search (across the many groups within Central
Marketing executing Paid Search). It is also responsible for working
closely with Client Web Services to ensure an integrated approach for
both Paid and Organic Search.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of developing and implementing paid
search campaigns including creative and optimization
- Interfaces directly with Search Engines to execute search
strategy
- Optimize Paid Search buying
- Sponsor data analytics for paid search and work closely
with client web services and DBRM to analyze search through to
conversion and make recommendations regarding trade offs for
investment in organic and paid search
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience implementing and managing ROI driven
PPC search engine marketing campaigns including keyword development,
establishing tracking, defining and executing bid strategies,
analysis and optimization
- Demonstrated proficiency with PPC reporting, bid
management systems, analytical tools, Word, Excel, and HTML
- Familiarity with search engine APIs and managing PPC
campaigns through an API
- Solid understanding of website functionality, front-end web
content and user interface and a well developed sense of efficient
and effective web user experience
- Strong financial analysis skills, including experience
distilling large quantities of data into key metrics that can drive
action and optimization of PPC campaigns
- Experience working with web analytics solutions such as
WebSideStory's HBX
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion optimization
techniques desired
- 1-2 Years marketing financial services desired
- Excellent analytic and marketing communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well in cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- College Degree required, MBA or related master's degree
preferred
