JOB DESCRIPTION

PayPal has an exceptional opportunity for an accounting reporting manager to manage & refine current reporting processes and procedures to effectively meet growing reporting, governance, and compliance requirements. The reporting manager will be a valuable addition to the PayPal team responsible for the following:
Provide timely and accurate consolidated monthly financial package and variance analysis to PayPal & eBay management teams.
Support quarterly eBay SEC filings, audit committee meetings, earnings release, and PayPal compliance filings.
Complete annual PayPal standalone reports and coordinate relevant statutory and tax filings.
Coordinate quarterly audit reviews, SAS 70 efforts, & SOX 404 management testing.
Assist on researching accounting issues and assessing the impact of recent GAAP releases.
Assist on providing guidance for business expansion, changes to legal structure, new product offerings, and business process changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP.
Effective communication & interpersonal skills in order to work directly with a broad group of internal and external teams.
Strong ability to apply new financial accounting guidance and communicate that information to senior management and other internal departments.
Strong problem solving skills and superb attention to detail.
Team-oriented & leadership skills with the ability to work on multiple issues at one time.
High energy & creativity, open with an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to meet deadlines in a rapidly growing environment.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) and ERP systems.
