SAS Programmer, Clinical Research (Seattle, WA)

The Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) is a non-profit organization based in Seattle, Washington and is committed to developing vaccines and diagnostic tools for use in the developing world. Our Clinical Research team is seeking an individual who can provide part-time SAS programming support as a contract consultant.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual should be proficient in SAS and have experience programming in SAS for clinical trials. Specifically, the candidate should be able to create statistical tables and listings for vaccine trials, run SAS QC checks on clinical databases, quickly prepare unblinded data listings and tables in ICH format for final study reports, and provide SAS support and statistical programming for the biostatistician and clinical team.

REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 3 or more years solid SAS programming experience and a minimum of 1 year programming in SAS for clinical trials are desired. Candidate should have experience using SAS Version 8.2., or a more recent version. The IDRI Clinical Team uses 9.1.3. Excellent communication and organizational skills are desired.
This is a part-time contract position with hours that will vary by month. Most work can be done remotely, but there will be a requirement to attend occasional meetings at IDRI offices.
