Overview:
The Media Operations Analyst is a key individual that defines and streamlines our operational performance reporting. This individual will drive a large data warehouse project including developing reports for functional team members as needed. Reporting to the Vice President of Ad Operations, the Media Operations Analyst will provide executive level dashboard reporting on key metrics of the media business, including volume, pricing and yield. The analysis provided should enable the team to maximize revenue and identify key performance opportunities.

Responsibilities:
1. Monitor the media operations metrics on a daily basis and investigate any anomalies.
2. Develop models and analytical reports that support pricing decisions as well as forecasts in delivery, performance and account revenue growth.
3. Must be able to design, create and maintain complex revenue, volume and forecast models.
4. Report on KPI's on a timely basis.
5. Perform analyses that underpin findings and recommendations on critical initiatives; help communicate findings and recommendations to business group leadership.
6. Report to management and the company-at-large regarding the health of the network and the impact of any product and/or marketplace changes on a weekly basis or more frequently if necessary.
7. Drive the data warehouse project and data systems to define additional data collection, reporting tools and metrics to aid in optimization of the business.
8. Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
9. Support the delivery, planning and account management teams, including account forecasting and account performance analysis.

Qualifications:
1. BA/BS in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
2. 2+ years experience in an analytics role.
3. Database knowledge: Ability to utilize Access, SAS or SPSS, SQL, Strata or other database packages a plus.
4. Expert Excel skills.
5. A team player but also a self-motivated individual who knows where to go to find answers to questions.
6. Internet Advertising background preferred.
7. Good writing and presentation skills.
8. Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through.
9. Proven quantitative ability and excel spreadsheet modeling skills.
10. Experience in the software, Internet or media industries helpful, but not required.
11. Excellent project management skills.
