Finance Grads with Strong quantitative background (Boston, MA)

Bay State Select has teamed up with a large prestigious rapidly growing financial service firm in Downtown Boston. This is an ideal position for a Finance graduate that would like to get a foot in the door in the finance industry while not requiring a lot of experience. The areas for placement include Trade Entry, Foreign Exchange Processing, Trade Settlement, Corporate Action Processing, Research Notification, Reconciliation projects, Quantitative analysis and Performance analysis.


ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The client is a rapidly growing financial service firm that has been the oldest and largest partnership bank in America. They specialize in providing energy and determination to global financial service clients every day. This project work requires candidates that are motivated, reliable, and can handle a project oriented, fast-paced environment. This project could lead to a permanent entry level job in the financial field.


ABOUT THE ROLE:
The manager is seeking a professional candidate with a "can do" attitude. The ideal candidate will have to possess problem solving skills, and be willing to learn and grow in this environment.

* Processing transactions

* Managing daily volume
* STRONG QUANTITATIVE BACKGROUND PREFERRED

* Juggling several tasks efficiently despite resource and time constraints
* Communicating professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues in order to minimize risk and exposure
* Strong verbal and written skills


COMPENSATION SUMMARY:
15-25/HR
