Statistical Analyst ( West Bridgewater, MA)

As a Statistical Analyst you will support strategic marketing and merchandising objectives by the production and maintenance of statistical models, customer segmentations and other statistical analysis.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

• Developing and applying statistical models to target Specialty Catalogs to appropriate customers.
• Developing and maintaining segmentation models based on historical purchase patterns and demographic information to predict customer purchase behavior.
• Designing, researching and developing new approaches to customer segmentation based on analysis.
• Ensuring that all customer analytics occur in a timely manner in order to support mailing schedules.
• Working with business analysts to devise customer selections and tests.
• Development of statistical analysis to target and evaluate personalized marketing material.
• Statistical support for Marketing and Merchandising Teams.
• Data mining to find “hidden” relationships and trends in the data.
• Statistical analysis of Internet web logs to extract meaningful information
• Ad Hoc Projects.
  

• Strong statistical/math knowledge base.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SAS or other statistical software.
• Thorough grounding in the use of the database selection and query tools SQL, etc.
• Self-starter, being able to work on their own initiative.
• Presentation and communication skills.
• Spreadsheet skills.
