Lead Analyst / Manager, Market Research (Collegeville, PA)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead expert use of a range of complex medical pharmaceutical marketing intelligence tools (quantitative & qualitative) and primary research models,
- Integrate disparate intelligence into comprehensive analyses towards strategic/tactical recommendations for action in guiding product commercial optimization.
- Research extensive therapeutic market potential/product opportunity and performance evaluations; develop written diagnostic reports & research results; & provide presentations to commercial teams, Senior Management, Marketing, Sales, etc.
- Lead team in identification, design and implementation of appropriate and integrated programs of market research in support of promoted products, on time, within budget and deriving optimum value through negotiation with multiple suppliers and vendors.
- Review literature, on-line services and current information/data to update continuously the strategic vision for the business by staying abreast of current and future competitive situations and advising management when necessary.
- Lead, develop, maintain and continuously improve upon the Best Practices in market research.
- Effectively seek, communicate and encourage Best Practices across all activities and interactions with colleagues in Customer and Market Insights, Marketing, Planning and partner collaboration and activities with suppliers and local operating companies.
REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS (MBA preferred) and 7+ years demonstrated marketing research experience with a manufacturer, supplier, consultant or equivalent.
- Previous team lead and supervisory experience.
- Proven expertise with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and in interpreting business information into actionable insights and guidance for business decision-making
- Demonstrated project management, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- PC proficiency and familiarity with online searching and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with biomedical/drug terminology.
