Description:

The objective of the Statistical Analyst Position is to resolve client inquires through comprehensive data analysis, consultation with internal clients, and effective communication of findings and recommendations. Conduct and deliver studies, projects and analyses addressing client needs or internal process improvements.

Responsibilites:

The successful candidate will analyze data from multiple sources to answer client data challenges and inquiries. Work effectively across functional areas to investigate issues and resolve problems. Produce clear, concise written reports of findings and recommendations. Conduct and deliver studies to answer client questions, respond to client concerns, and explain ACNielsen methods, procedures and practices. Work with internal clients to understand business need and requirements, identify project activities, and recommend alternative approaches if appropriate. Identify and recommend improvements to analytical processes and tools.

Qualifications:

Two or more years of practical experience in the area of market research or related field, or MS in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field. Strong quantitative background and computing skills (SAS or similar a plus). Solid MS Office skills, including Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Proven problem solving skills (deductive reasoning, able to see hierarchical relationships, logical thinking). Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex concepts verbally and in written reports. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
