Biometrician/Statistician (Chapel Hill, NC)

Requirements:
- Advanced degree (MS, MA, DrPh, PhD) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related field
- At least three years experience working with SAS or a comparable statistical package OR an appropriate combination of education and experience with a proven ability to perform
- Experience in drug development, pharmaceutical or CRO environments required
- Ability to present information clearly in English, orally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other professional staff
- Basic understanding of the drug development process and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop data analysis sections of protocols
- Develop data analysis plans
- Prepare randomization schedules
- Develop and maintain analysis databases
- Using SAS or other statistical programming languages, program tables, listings, and/or figures for clinical studies and/or integrated summaries
- Validation of statistical data displays
- Prepare statistical reports (methods, discussion and interpretation)
- Plan and supervise work of SAS programmers
- Assists with case report form development
- Assists with validation of the clinical database
- Assists with the preparation of manuscripts
- Assist Manager of Biometrics as needed
